Community Involvement

Our school enjoys the generous support and assistance of many local groups and organizations who are always willing to help out. Kids can grow has been teaching us how to grow food and mushrooms. Manitoulin Streams has been bringing us on field trips to work on improving our rivers. M’Chigeeng First Nation welcomes us to their annual Fall Harvest Feast and students enjoy sampling and learning about traditional food.

We are also proud to give back to our community through our support of local agencies and charities.  We work closely with our community services officer to address various social issues.  Several after school programs take place at our school including the archery club, Community Living, Manitoulin Family Resources and the Providence Bay Horticultural Society.
